Cheer up Girl

Today's weather was horrible! I was supposed to go to my sister for her birthday party but when I woke up this morning there was nothing but snow outside :-( My sis had invited me to High tea. Fortunately, she will postpone as I had been looking forward a lot to today! So, suddenly I was stuck at home with a load of free time. An excellent opportunity to create a new card which, in the end, really cheered me up! Today's creation was made for: Die Cuts R Us Design Team -- Ribbon Colour Create Challenge -- Soft Pink, Soft Blue, White and Silver Recent Awards

The wonderful Annemarie & Merit, Jessica and Tineke gave me these 2 fantastic awards! I'm really happy with them and feel really honored! I already followed the rules for this award and you can find the anwers here!
Finally, I wish you all a great weekend, hopefully with not too much hinder from the snow! :-)

Special Valentine's day Easelcard

Hi everyone, I've been away for a few days after some bad news but I'm back again. Valentine's Day is coming soon and it was time to make a card for my loved one. It was to be a very special card because it is the last Valentine's Card I am making for him before our marriage this summer. So I combined an easel card with a window that opens, something I had not seen before. But there's more. There is a little hidden surprise in it: a label stating Happy Valentine's Day that can be pulled out with a little string. Today's creation was made for: Little Red Wagon -- Hearts Creative Belli -- Hearts Anyone for Anya? -- Hearts Crafty Cardmakers -- Hearts & Romance Allsorts challenge -- Hearts & Flowers Crafty Catz -- Love Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge -- Valentines Lexi's Creations -- Valentines C.R.A.F.T. Challenge -- Red A Spoon Full of Sugar -- Freestyle
Last but not least I would like to thank Linda very much for being awarded for the second time (the the happy 101 award) That is really kind and I feel honoured!

You Name It...!

I had so much fun last week with making "a window" in my card that I wanted to make another one! I have gorgeous new paper and I just felt in love with this. First Christmas Card of 2010

I really lost my mojo this week! I think it is because of all of those boxes and christmas cards I've been making the past few weeks that it's difficult to switch back to the more regular themes. But since I still have a lot of christmas papers I decided to make it easy for myself by making another christmas card. You can't start too early because it's always a problem at the end of the year when you don't have enough of them! ;-) Today's creation was made for: Truly Scrumptious -- Sketch

Bittersweet Heidi

After all the boxes, special cards etc., I just wanted to make a normal card again. I thought it would be easier but believe me, it was not! I really struggled with this card today! It is a bit basic for my taste but I feel that adding anything else would make it too crowded. Today's creation was made for: Moving Along with te Times -- Sketch of your Choice (Challenge 19) Incy Wincy Designs -- Bling It Up Creative Inspirations -- Thank You C.R.A.F.T. Challenge -- Thank You Bee Crafty -- Thank You Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge -- Thank You Totally Gorjuss -- Thank You The Corrosive Challenge -- Two Favourite Embellishments (Flowers & Rinostones)

Baby Turtle

First of all, I wish you all the best for 2010! Our new year's eve was peaceful with just the two of us, but because our animals were sooo terrified we thought it would be best to stay at home ;-) Speaking of animals, I always found it very hard to find the right images for baby cards. I wanted to make one today and really couldn't find the perfect stamp, so I've searched on the internet and found this cute baby turtle from Littlest Petshop! I wanted to try something new and decided to make a Joy-folded card. It was easy to make and I loved to do it so maybe it is something for you?! ;-) Today's creation was made for: Dutch Dare Card Challenges -- Joy-folded card Charisma Cardz -- Celebrations! Cupcake Craft Challenges -- ***A Time For Celebration*** Paperplay Challenges -- New Somethings Stamp Something -- New Somethings Crafty Ann -- Something new Stampin' For the Weekend -- New Beginnings Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge -- New Beginnings By The Cute and Girly -- New Somethings Fussy and Fancy Friday -- New Somethings Roses on Paper Challenge -- Colouring with your favourite medium
