Celebration Candy!

This post will stay on top till March 31st, so please scroll down for newer post Thank you. To celebrate my brand new DT position and my upcoming birthday (March 7th) I thought it would be fun to throw in a candy for all you supporting followers. Scrapcorner offers personalised name stamps which I adore and which seemed the perfect giveaway. Whoever wins this candy gets their own personalised name stamp!! He or she can make a pick from a selection of stamps and then define a text, and get that stamp from me.

All you have to do is: 1. Become a follower if you're not already 2. Spread the word on your sidebar or in a post. 3. Share your link using Mr Linky below 4. You can leave a comment, but not necessarily This candy will run until March 31st at Midnight Central European Time. Shipping will be worldwide so don't let geography stop you! I will draw the winner randomly and make the announcement on Thursday April 1st.

Be sure to abide the above directions for participation. I noticed in the past that not everyone followed these. Although I will randomly pick a winner, I must be fair to everyone so I will check the actions above and randomly pick another winner if they were not correctly executed.

Flower Pot Card

Hello! As you will probably know by now, I'm one of the new design team members at Scrapcorner. This card is my first creation. It contains a bit more colours than I am used to working with, but that's because I had such gorgeous paper from Basic Grey called Sugar Rush. This material is really great to work with and as you may have guessed, can be purchased from Scrapcorner. Because of the flowery print I decided I could use it to make something new; a flower pot card. The idea came from Stephanie Luman where you can find a tutorial which explains in detail how to make your own!
Have a nice day and don't forget to enter my candy which will end in two days!

Happy Easter

Hi everyone! It's been too long since my last post. Unfortunately I was faced with the tons of work for my wedding invitations (I'm still burried under at least half of them ;-) ). But today I'm leaving for Antwerpen with my mom. Some of you might remember that I gave her a two-day trip for Christmas. No Easter card is complete without an Easter bunny and some yellow, so here's that classic card. I usually don't make Easter cards because I don't send any but then I came across this cute image which I just could not resist. Today's card is a little bit more romantic than I usually create them but I'm pleased with the result anyway. What do you think? Today's creation was made for: Crafty Cardmakers -- Spring into Spring Lexi's Creations -- Easter Incy Wincy Designs -- Spring/Easter Stamp with fun -- Easter A Spoon Full of Sugar -- Easter Creative Inspirations -- Green, Yellow and White I Love Digi Challenge -- Easter Totally Gorjuss -- Ribbon One Stop Craft Challenge -- Let it Shine Our Creative Corner -- Spring/Easter Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge -- Spring has Sprung Bee Crafty -- Spring Stampin' For the Weekend -- Easter Rosie-D's Challenge -- Green, Yellow and White Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge -- Spring/Easter Theme

Little Fisher

Hi everyone! Today's card was made for one of our friends who likes to fish. The image made me think of him and I realised that it was perfect for a birthday card for him. It is usually difficult to make a male card but I found out that if you use blue, green and brown, it is really not that hard. The "Knotsgekke Kaarten Dagen", one of my favourite creative fairs, started today for the coming three days in Den Bosch. This fair is held twice a year and I've been a loyal visitor since about two years now. So this Saturday I will be there together with my sister. I'm looking forward to that a lot. Who knows how many of you I will meet (or unfortunately, walk by without realising who they are)?! For those of you who intend to go; I wish you great fun and a lot of purchases. I advise everyone to empty their saving pigs or rob a gas station on their way to the fair ;-) Today's creation was made for: Die cut Dreams Challenge -- No Flowers allowed Double Dutch -- Boys Only Creative Inspirations Challenge -- Male Card

Enjoy the sunshine everyone, and I wish you all a great weekend in advance.

The Adorable Snowman

Hello everyone! Here's a sign of life after some time. You may have noticed that I've been much less active than here than usual. There are good reasons for that, one of which being my hand-made wedding invititations. I can't tell anything about the other stuff yet, but I will soon! Today's card has that winter feeling all over it which felt a bit overdue when I started. What a surprise when I heard this morning that it was starting to snow in the northern provinces in the Netherlands! The snow is now falling in the south as well but hopefully it will end tonight because tomorrow, my partner is taking me on a trip to the Belgian coast. Then we'll stay for one night in a nice hotel to celebrate my birthday which is on sunday! No challenges to submit this card to. It was just for fun and to let everyone know that I am still alive ;-)
Have a great weekend!
